Today, I want to call out to those dads out there who maybe don't always show their feelings towards their sons,also daughters but this perhaps applies to the male bond. I am 47 yrs old, my dad died over 20 yrs ago but today for no real reason i find myself reflecting on our relationship. you see my dad left my mom when i was 9 mths old and my sister was just 18mths or so. I had all the birthdays waiting by the window, sometimes he would show and others i would wait believing he will turn into the street next. He used to come every Boxing Day and take us to his new home with his new family and I cherished these times because my nan loved us

A teacher in New York was teaching her class about bullying and gave them the following exercise to perform. She had the children take out a piece of paper and told them to crumple it up, stomp on it and really mess it up, not to rip it. Then she had them unfold the paper, smooth it out and look at how scarred and dirty it was. She then told them to tell it they're sorry. Now, even though they said they were sorry and tried to fix the paper, she pointed out all the scars they left behind. And that those scars will never go away no matter how hard they tried to fix it.
